January is Feline Spay/Neuter Month at Claiborne Hill
Did you know?
A single pair of cats have the potential to produce over 400,000 kittens within seven years.
Un-neutered male cats are more likely to spray urine to mark their territory, as well as fight with other males to defend their territory.
Intact males and females will wander in search of a mate. A female in heat will draw every intact male for more than a mile to your property.
Every year approximately 6 million animals are euthanized in shelters because there simply aren’t enough homes for them all. Even one unplanned litter from your family pet has the potential to contribute to this statistic.
During January Claiborne Hill has a feline spay/neuter drive. We offer discounted spay/neuter surgeries for all cats during this time. No cat is too old to be ‘fixed’ (with occasional, rare exceptions) and we can safely perform the surgery on kittens as young as 12 weeks.
Please contact us right away to schedule a surgical appointment for your cat.
