St. Tammany Parish has recently announced that they will be recognizing all Rabies vaccines which are labeled for three years. Puppies and kittens will be required to receive one rabies vaccination at 3 months of age or older and a booster 1 year later. Each adult dog and cat will then receive a rabies vaccination once every 3 years
